Outdoor furniture in teak
Cane-line's beautiful teak furniture is made of 100% teak - the best quality, Grade A. The teak gives a unique warmth to the stylish and minimalist outdoor furniture. Our teak is approved and grown according to the SVLK certification, which stands for responsible and sustainable forestry. Due to its high content of oil, teak is ideal for outdoor use. This means that you can enjoy your outdoor furniture for many years because of the high comfort and the low maintenance.
An example of a teak series is Flip. This series is a reinterpretation of the classic folding chair and folding table. This series is designed by the Danish design duo Strand+Hvass. With furniture from the Flip series, you will not compromise on the quality nor the design. This is a series, which is perfect for the small terrace or the balcony, where the space is limited.
Maintenance
Teak is a natural material and therefore it goes through a natural process. Over time it will patinate to an elegant silver-grey colour. If you wish to keep the warm glow and the beautiful golden-brown colour, it can easily be done. We recommend using our care products, Cane-line Care. This is a series of care products, specially developed for teak furniture. You can find our Cane-line Care products here.
We recommend that you use a cover for your outdoor teak furniture. This way, you will protect your Cane-line outdoor furniture throughout autumn and winter. As an alternative you can also store your outdoor furniture inside.
Cane-line Weave®
Cane-line Weave® is a specially developed fibre made from polyethylene. This fibre is ideal for outdoor use because it can withstand water and large differences in temperature. Furthermore, the material is UV-resistant, which means that it is made for all kind of weather conditions around the world. The material ensures that the furniture maintains its colour and the shape for many years. Cane-line Weave® requires only minimal of maintenance, so you can use your time enjoying your outdoor furniture instead of using the time on washing and cleaning them.
With our Cane-line Weave® fibre, you can choose between two different expressions – the simple and minimalist look or the warm natural look.
The minimalist look
An example of a simple and minimalist look with our Cane-line Weave® is the popular Breeze series. This series has a minimalist and timeless look and is with good reason one of our most popular series. Breeze is high on comfort, has an elegant design and offers low maintenance. The series is designed by the Danish design duo Strand+Hvass.
The natural look
The warm natural look you will see in series such as Basket or Nest outdoor series. This furniture may look very similar to the natural material rattan for indoor use, but it is produced in our strong Cane-line Weave® fibre, which is why the furniture can withstand being outside on the terrace.
Maintenance
To keep the quality and elegance of the outdoor furniture, we recommend a regular cleaning with a soft brush, soap and water. As an alternative the outdoor furniture can be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner with a soft beam.
In months during autumn and winter, we recommend that you use a cover to protect your outdoor furniture against the weather. Alternatively, you can store your outdoor furniture inside.
Cane-line Soft Rope
Cane-line Soft Rope is made from polypropylene. The strong material ensures a soft and comfortable surface and an excellent sitting comfort. Cane-line Soft Rope is ideal for outdoor use. It is UV-resistant and therefore the colour will not fade even if the furniture is kept outside in the sun. Furthermore, the material can withstand large differences in temperature, which makes our outdoor furniture in Cane-line Soft Rope suitable for any climate.
An example of outdoor furniture in this soft and strong Cane-line Soft Rope is the series Peacock. Several of the furniture in the Peacock series is weaved in Cane-line Soft Rope. This gives a soft appearance, but it is at the same time an extremely hard-wearing outdoor furniture. This is furniture that oozes of elegance and high comfort.
Maintenance
Your outdoor furniture made of Cane-line Soft Rope is likely to stand outside for a longer period. Therefore, we recommend a regular cleaning with a soft brush, soap, and water. This way you reduce dirt such as fallen leafs, pollen and bird droppings, which in time will be hard to remove without regular cleaning. Another way to clean your Cane-line Soft Rope furniture is to use a high-pressure cleaner with a soft beam.
We recommend that you use a cover for your Cane-line outdoor furniture, especially in the period where your furniture is outside, and you do not use them.
Aluminum
Aluminium is a material that requires minimal of maintenance. Cane-line’s aluminium outdoor furniture is powder coated, and therefore the material has an extra protecting layer. This makes our aluminium furniture ideal for outdoor use. Our outdoor furniture in aluminium is very light, which makes them very easy to move around.
Copenhagen is a series that includes dining chairs in a modern Nordic design. The outdoor furniture is made in aluminium, which gives a light and elegant design. Additionally, the chairs are very easy to stack. An extra bonus with Copenhagen chairs is that they take up less space than traditional outdoor furniture. Therefore, the Copenhagen chairs are ideal for the small as well as the larger outdoor space.
Maintenance
Aluminium has a very low level of maintenance. Nevertheless, we recommend a regular cleaning with water and soap. This will help maintaining the nice look of aluminium. We recommend that you cover your aluminium furniture with a furniture cover, when they are outside and not in use.
